Problem with Kryo's hull mod--copymodels batch not working. No hulls as jewelry

I upgraded to Vista and a new machine with widescreen, and just installed DL and DA which work fine, except for a ship destination assignment problem (separate post). However, I transferred my ships from my prior computer (worked hours on Trek-like ships) and upon installing the KHSM Mod 1.9 for DL and DA, everything worked fine, except for the "hulls as jewelry" option. I followed the instructions for running copymodels.bat and still no hulls as jewelry appear, on either my saved templates or for newly created ships. Help? I don't want to lose all the work I did on these ships.

Vista doesn't seem to like the batch file. Some have figured it out I believe, but I'm not sure if it's as simple as just running it as an admin or not. I have Vista on my new machine now though so I'll check it out when I get a chance.

Are you sure you installed it in the right mod folder? I just ran into an issue where the hulls were not appearing and it turned out I had installed it in the GalCiv2 mod folder even though I was playing Dark Avatar. There's no Mod folder by default in DA so you need to create one and install it there.

BTW Kryo, will there be a version of your mod for the new XP? I'm certainly hoping so.

Belanos, I did create a mod folder for DA and installed it there. I also installed it in the default mod folder in DL.

Kryo, I did note that the batch file seemed to run, and in the KHSM DA folder there are two subfolders, Data and Gfx. Gfx itself has "thumbnails" and "models", and within the models folder appear xfiles that seem to be the result of the copymodels batchfile being run. Yet, even though these folders are present, the game doesn't seem to see the xfiles representing the hulls as jewelry.
