Start Button question

im using stradocks diamond skin and i just wanted to know if there was an easy way to import the vista start orb into the skin instead of using the stardock logo...im skinning xp

Easy?  You can download SKS6 change the graphics fairly easily.

if i open up skin studio and go to where i can change the start button i always end up witha a button thats off center and has a black border any idea on how i can fix that?

For the black border you have to enable trans and alpha... then the off center... add empty pixels to the sides and/or fix your margins i suggest going with truesize, if you have a button larger than the taskbar (upwards else if downwards it will show when you are using double taskbar) you need to enable always show glow and slice your button to get two sets of the startbutton where the top is the glow and the bottom is the real clickable button.. and again margins (truesize) and for glow do the extra settings to get it to align with the bottom half.
