Defaut Settings

Is there anyway to quickly revert to the default look when using WindowBlinds?
I want my original XP look back, but when I use the 'xp' theme, it always reverts to classic.
If I uninstall the application, will it automatically revert to the default settings, or keep the one I previously applied?

MzShortay I've not taken off WB's but if you select the XP or Classic Theme in WB's what you effectively have done is shut it down. You should now be able to right click and get properties and then select the XP Theme. I would do that before uninstalling WB's. If you were using any other programs like Icon Packager I would go back and set each program that you used to default before uninstalling.

Hope this helps. Post back and let us know what happened.

WB is actually skinning the classic as far as I can tell

choosing the xp default always reverts to classic(modified) for me
go into properties and picking on of the XP themes puts it right

possibly (haven't tried it) just going into properties and switching to an xp theme?

I tried that. But my taskbar remains the same.
Everything else reverts back to the normal XP theme.
Should I just install WB to get everything back to normal?

not sure... never uninstalled with a skin applied - always chose default, closed wb, used properties to go from classic modified to xp luna

just tried properties > themes > luna = apply - = had no effect..,.

wb configure > xp style > get window classic modfied

open properties > themes > xp luna > apply it's applied

once in a while going from 'classic modified' to luna in themes doesn't fully work, but if i go to the appearance tab and then pick a different luna theme and appy it, it works

did you have a WB skin running when you uninstalled?

have you rebooted?

I haven't tried it yet.
I rather not get 'stuck' with something I don't want.

I'll try what was posted earlier and see if it works.

Okay, I tried the method you said by converting back to the
XP [classic modified] theme using WB.
Then going to properties, and selecting the XP theme
there, and everything turned back to normal.
Taskbar and all. Thanks alot!

Big help! :D
