game crashes when maximizing the game after hitting 'windows' button

I've realized that whenever i try to maximize the game after hitting the "windows" button it crashes with the new 1.80g patch for DA.

I get this but only about 1/20 times I do it. Not a big deal to me TBH.

Try running the game in windowed mode - there's be a stickie post about that somewhere.

how do you run the game in windowed mode? that would be extremely advantageous to me when i do beta testing for my mod "The Bringers of Light" for DA (you can see the site here:WWW Link)

Open the "Options" menu, click the video options, uncheck the box marked "fullscreen".

Note: you may need to adjust the resolution after you do this.
