I'm having trouble with application icons on Object Dock

Hey guys!

So far, Object Dock has been working perfectly, and I haven't had any major problems, this one is more of a pet peeve, than a problem, but I was wondering if I could get some help nonetheless. Anyway, as you know, why you scroll over an icon on the dock, it enlargens, and if the icon is outdated, it will look slightly pixelated, instead of vector-esque. I have been recently updating folders and other icons to make my computer look a little less ugly, but whenever I do this to an application icon (IE: Macromedia Flash), the icon remains as the original once it is loaded to the dock. Is there a way to fix this . . . or is this just because I am not changing the icon in a the correct manner or this just not a capability of Object Dock's?

Thanks guys! :D

if you are asking if Object dock auto updates when you change an apps icon with Iconpackager or another app?.. no.. you have to manually edit the docked icons to the images you wish to use...it would be easier the way you suggested.. but its not supported at this time...

Thank you for the quick reply. How do I go about manually editing the dock icons? I've downloaded the Stardock icon programs, but they seem to be of no use.

Edit: Actually, IconPackager has made the matter worse. Now when I right click on Flash, it does not allow me to use the change icon option.

ok first go to the icon you wish to change right click on it in the drop down menu select Dock entry properties, in the window that opens select Change image. Another window will open , at the lower left of that window select browse for an image.in the window that opens next navigate to where your icons you wish to use are stored.. select the icon you wish to use. press apply. In each window til they are all closed.. your Dock should now show the new icon.. :)

If you are just changing the icon to a new one, just right click on the icon. A menu will pop up, go down to "Dock Entry Properties" at the bottom. That will bring up a window, choose "change image" and brouse to where you have the image stored.
Is that what you needed?
