well i got my prosthetic leg this morning and i am now able to walk again (albiet with a limp and a little difficulty). now i can start retraining myslef to walk properly and maybe soon start driving the car again and living a more or less normal life.
things are looking up :)

Good for you man!! In 1976 I was told I would never walk on my left leg again after pretty horrific injuries to it in a motorcycle accident. I told them to "Go Away", but not in such pretty words. It took me a year, but i got walking again. I still have a lot of trouble with it, and I can't ride a motorbike (Grrrrrrrrrr), but at least I'm upright and able to earn a living.
