Resolution Issue

I have a big screen tv so I wanted to change the resolution on it in order for the game to run. Well I forget which resolution I set it at but I checked the "windowed" option under video settings. Now Dark Avatar will not let me click any of the buttons in the first main menu. I can't click options in order to change the settings back to the original setting. The game is running in windowed mode perfectly like the game is waiting on me to pick an option but I can't click any of the buttons. Its not my mouse and its not a hardware issue. Its the game and I need to figure out how to solve this issue or I can not ever play the game. It keeps going back to the windowed mode everytime I start the game up. I know it is not my mouse because I can click through the beginning movies before the main menu pops up but still unable to click a menu option. Any idea on how to change the video setting or getting the game to see my mouse?

Sounds like you just picked a bad resolution--you can reset it to the default so you can get back into the game by deleting the file prefs.ini from a location depending on your version:

DL: My Documents\My Games\GalCiv2
DA: My Documents\My Games\GC2DarkAvatar
TA: My Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor

If need be, you can also set the resolution settings manually by opening prefs.ini in notepad and changing the values of FullScreen, DisplayHeight, and DisplayWidth appropriately.
