You have dared to enter the lair of the most ferocious predators in the galaxy!

It is the ulitmate destiny of the Kzinti to conquer the other civilizations of the galaxy, subjugate and enslave any who may prove useful to us, and devour the rest. The Fanged God has ordained that this is how it will be.

In just 26 octals of days (7 months or so...Kzinti count in base 8), the Kzinti Empire rose from obscurity, to #1 on the Metaverse. With the blessings of the Fanged God, we have remained dominant for 100s more octals of days since that auspicious day.  We leapt past the other empires, and our mighty domain now encompasses over 32 million more light years than the second most powerful empire.  The most recent Galactic Map data shows that we have subjugated over 45% of the galaxy.  Many warriors from the old and dying empires have joined us, to avoid being eaten along with the rest.  We hunger to establish indefinite supremacy over all the inferior sentient species...

We have also been #1 on the AltMeta for over 3 years running. The Empire grows more powerful with each passing day as new conquests are won, and more warriors join us in our inevitable rise to rule the galaxy!

The Kzinti are a species of bipedal space-faring feline predators, who love nothing more than conquest and battle. Created by sci-fi writer Larry Niven, the Kzinti have had many stories written about them, most notably in the Man-Kzin Wars series of books. They have also shown up in the Star Trek universe, and a number of other realities.

Maybe some of the other species from the Known Space universe could be included in the mod, like the Puppeteers, Pak, Thrintun, etc. I'll do some looking around and send you some info this weekend.

I'm beginning to think he has a split-personality. His avatar changed to the pencil-sketch lizard, then back to the pokemon and said screw us, now back to the pencil-sketch for an alliance request.

We are starting a new research project lets just say that its got somthing to do with a Sentient Race that the Kzinti can not eat and can not stop feeling worried yet Kzinti.

Puppeteers usually pay others to do their dirty work for them. When confronted, Puppeteers turn their back to danger. Generally, this is only the first step in running away very quickly. If cornered, though, that back leg can kick hard enough to kill even a Kzin.

Is it just me, or does this describe the Drath pretty well? (except for the whole population issue, that is)

Nah they can't swim. I threw one into my lava pit and it sank almost instantly. Just splashed about and drowned. nothing like a crocodile or aligator.

I say more like an Igauna/Pariot, cold blooded and talks alot.

Definitely a lot like the Drath, and they certainly would have Super-Manipulator too like Loupdinour said.

Not my best game, but conditions were less favorable for scoring. Did super-diplomat instead of super-breeder, there were no beneficial mega-events, and habitable planets turned down to common (and smaller planet count than my similar game), which helped my computer to think more quickly!

yup I sure did. and i'm a guy this time too.

Anyways we are conducting tests before we do Kzinti tests. we can't risk the lives of innocent kzinti volenteers yet so we are going to test with food first. It seems very sensible to me.
