Basically, u could keep everyone in line if u get the strongest diplomacy skill. You could buy a ship for like 100bc, then sell it back to them for 150bc.

Later on, that became my only source of income. I buy 20 Battleships from Yor's, then sell them back for double the profit. Easily kept my military the highest in the galaxy.

Yah, and never colonized any planets either. Stayed on my cozy little Earth for more than 200 years!

Funny thing is, I get to wage wars by proxy. Get everyone else to attack someone. Buy off their whole fleet and give them to the attackers. All the while they are still "friendly" toward me.
