Problems in Windowed Mode

Unfortunately for the moment I'm forced to play Sins in Windowed mode to avoid my video driver from crashing. I already posted about the issue and I'm glad to see that NVIDIA has been notified.    However, now that I use windowed mode, I have noticed a pretty annoying issue regarding scrolling. Usually, you can scroll around the map by just moving your cursor to the edge of the screen and the camera will move in that direction, but at the moment in windowed mode, you can only move left and right, as moving up or down simply move the cursor to the task bar (Minimize, Maximize, Close Buttons), and as a result you are forced to use the arrow keys to scroll around the map. It's not a major problem, but it is an annoyance.

Thanks!

I would use zoom to cursor or the arrow keys

I hate zoom to cursor mode, it drives me insane, and the arrow keys are an annoyance because of positioning on the keyboard. I can't scroll around while selecting command groups.

I play in Windowed mode constantly, and don't have this issue. The problem is that there's a very small area where the scrolling is triggered, and you pretty much have to hover your mouse over it. I asked the devs about this a while ago, but unfortunately I'm pretty sure it was in the beta 3 feedback thread that was removed.

There is an line in a config file somewhere to modify the area that triggers scrolling, I just don't remember what and where

xp C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Setting\
vista C:\Users\Multianna\AppData\Roaming\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Setting\

find the file camera.setting

in that one you should be able to change it as Annatar said.
But what settings im not sure about, so make a backup and try fooling around with it

Side-note

In options why dont you set the arrow key/scrolling to AWSD its by far more comfortable for your hands.

it's actually the user.setting file, look for AutoStrafeAreaSize
