Cobalt/Skirmisher agility

This is something that's been bugging me for a while but I finally decided to bring it up after talking about it with P5yy a bit.

Does anyone feel like those two ships in particular are too sluggish? I mean, when you show them to move their arc is almost as wide as a capital's, and they're much smaller. Combined with their weapon firing arc being pretty much directly in front, a really cheap way to make cobalts/skirmishers ineffective in combat is to just move whatever they're attacking behind them, and it will take them ages to turn around, as well as making them move closer to your fleet/defensive line.

The other problem is that with the possible defensive structure placement, sometimes when you jump in you're barely out of range, and there's just no way to move your cobalts/skirmishers without taking a lot of fire from gauss/missile platforms.

Making them a bit more agile and allowing them to turn faster with a smaller arc (note, I'm not asking for a quick spin around in place mechanic, only a bit more agility) would probably go a long way towards making them less of a pain to use

The current one Since now there's a zone where ships can jump out/jump in, quite often I find my ships jumping in not at the edge of the grav well like in beta 3, but closer to the inner boundary. That puts them really close to defenses

I think you need to micro them (ick) to get them to jump in where you want them. Go as far out of the current grav well as you can, and they end up at the edge of the new one. I think.

eh, it still has issues with that sometimes, especially with group jumping
