Info cards confuse!

Well, a few of them do.

I just noticed that a few of the info cards for the various research techs are kind of vague.
A good example would be the pervasive economy tech, the info card says "Your income earns a fraction of the cost of all other empires expenditures, whenever purchases are made."

Ok that sounds pretty clear to me, but when you add that it has "Trade to credit conversion"
and "Sale to credit conversion" it muddies the waters somewhat (In my opinion) and makes it seem like it only applies to the black market.

Maybe I'm just stupid and cant read it correctly.

Trade to Credit means that whenever they trade (trade port/trade ships), you get money. Sale to Credit means whenever they buy something (someone has made a sale) you get money.

I think he means the "you can jump to other Stars" Artifact. Not that artifacts matter since they are completely random and you get absolutely no clue at all where they could be.
They need a "Alien Ruins Here!" Marker that is visible as soon as a planet is discovered (though you still have to colonize AND finish the exploration developments). That way everyone will rush for the planet and there'll be another, dynamic, focus point except the usual "Ice planet - Crystals!" focus.

Yeah -- the other one is labeled phase accelerator or something like that, and is useful.

Er.. the release trees are the overhauled version :P

The old ones were messier, not split up into more convenient subgroups, and instead of needing 1 lab per tier, needed 2 (so max tech was at 15 labs).

Not to mention a lot of techs were organized into different positions, and shifted around to play with racial strengths/weaknesses (talking about the current trees now).
