When Time Stands still

With palms together,
Good Morning Everyone,
This morning I was reading a paper generously offered me by a friend. The focus of the paper was on relativity. He used an example of two people in space. They begin to move away from each other at 60 mph just as a light turns on. The speed of light is constant so in one year, it will travel a "light year", while during the same elapsed time the two people will have traveled about a half million miles apart from each other..So, what's the picture after a year?
Both people, though a half million miles apart from each other will each be in the center of their sphere of light, but there was only one sphere of light to begin with in the first place. Hmmm.
First, it is important to note that the whole idea of motion is relative. We are never moving except in relation to something. One person alone, in relation to nothing, cannot be said to be moving, Second, light has the same speed regardless of the speed of others. So, if it were possible for you to travel at the speed of light and it were possible for you to turn on a flashlight, the light from that flashlight would travel at your current speed. So my guess is, it would not travel at all. Moreover, nothing within you would be moving, as movement from point to point requires a passage of time and at the speed of light, time stands still or more properly, might be said to cease to exist.
But that's another story. My friend's story, however, points to a certain truth:
“God" (or as I would say, the Absolute) " is a sphere whose center is everywhere.” We are all at that center, and we all remain there, no matter where we are.
This gives rise to a picture of the Absolute as perfect stillness.
