Change Game Speed & Deconstruct

I tried to search for this topic but nothing came up relevant.
Two ideas that may be worth exploring if not yet considered.

Is it possible to add a feature so you can adjust the game speed while you are playing the game? Would help if you are in a large scale battle to slow down time or speed up time when nothing major is going on.

Also a way to deconstruct or remove a built structure?
I find it when my empire exands, I do not need as many orbitals or like to reposition them.

would be nice for sp. but unless you reinvent the laws of physicy in wont work in mp

yes there is. in the bottom center, just below the unit pic is an arrow like icon. there you can scuttle stuff. takes a few seconds, but you get money back.

or press the H key

Though i have tried a few times using the H key ( like in HW for the harvesters to auto harvest) on my scouts to make them auto explore. A few sec later i get a message saying it was shuttled LOL

No, but in single-player you can pause and issue orders.
