21 years ago, me and Pat (T-man) ran Commodore 64 BBSes.  Back then, only a few people were into "on-line communities".  That's how we met. It was the summer after 9th grade for me and he had just graduated from high school.

From then on, we have run online communities together.  BBSes, then news groups, and later of course WinCustomize.com.

Today is T-man's birthday. And to my friend, I say to you, happy birthday. Few people are as lucky as I am to have such a good friend that they get to see every day and still do fun cool stuff together.

And some day in the distant future when I hit 40, when robots and interplanetary travel are the norm, we can look back at the years and smile that we never grew out of our hobbies.
