I'm having a problem with Xion. Whenever I open it I can't run any other programs on my computer. Does it just take up a lot of memory or what? I don't have this problem with any other program...

It does that to me too. I think it has to do with the scrolling title bar. If the song has a long title and it scrolls across the player, it freezes up everything else.
If there is a "mini" version of the player, try using that.

You might try different skins to see if you get better results. Look around and get a less complex skin with smaller file size.
Generally, the more bells and whistles, the bigger the performance hit.
