No transparency after windows update

Windows Vista, 32bit, home basic 1.5 gig. After yesterdays windows update, my windowblinds 6 will not make any of my skins toolbar transparant anymore. Anyone else have this problem? Do i need to uninstall windowblinds and see if that will fix the problem or is their a setting i need to change? I slide the transparency bar over to the left to make it invincible on any skin, apply it and nothing changes. Was fine before update.
Any help?

Do you get transparency if you apply aero?

nicoletta54: Which version of Vista are you using?

I am having the same problem, but it seems to only be affecting the taskbar I installed windowblinds last night, 2 days AFTER the windows update. Also even though I uncheck "show icon in system tray..." it still shows it. Only problems in windowblinds that I'm having all seems to be taskbar related

Are you also on Vista home basic?

If so, try pressing the reset defaults button in the WB transparency & blur page.

I am having the exact same problem as you guys. It effects my whole computer, explorer bars, taskbar, startmenu, IE explorer, Firefox, Opera. It's weird though, right-click menus work fine, they're transparent, and thats it. When i go into Vista's config to turn transparency back on it tells me that Desktop Composition Is Disabled. I am going to uninstall the windows updates i installed a few days ago because i just noticed this problem since i installed them. There was only 4, so I will uninstall one by one and report back here to tell you if any one of them fixed the problem.

My system is as Follows:
Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit
2Gb OCZ Platinum
BFG Geforce 7800 GS OC
AMD AthlonXP 64-X2

Well i got it on the first try, i uninstalled the update KB933928 and my system was fine after reboot, this is odd since this update supposedly has to do with improving the product acitivation and registration process. The microsoft info site about this update is HERE. I hope this helps everyone else too.
