Minidumps

I was just wondering what exactly Minidumps do? I mean my game will crash, a minidump message will come up and that's the end of that. What kind of info does it send and is there anything I can do to further help out the devs? It seems almost too easy too me. I dunno. Great game so far tho!

P.S. I usually get minidumps while playing large maps often returning to the saved game or randomly while looking at a lot of planets.

I believe that the minidumps send information to the devs as to why the game crashed. I've had the same problem when loading some saved games, though I haven't tried any large maps with beta 3. I noticed that they released a patch for beta 3, I haven't updated yet since I'm finishing a game with my brother. Luckily I found that while some saves will cause the game to crash, one of the autosaves usually works. Thank the devs that I don't have to restart every time.

On another note, autosaves no longer take 5 minutes to save. That's a relief.
