Corrupted Menus in Windows Mail

With WindowBlinds 6

Hi,I am using the latest WindowBlinds with Vista Home Premium and I am having a problem with the menus in Windows mail. They have lines on them which disappear as I mouse over them but reappear straight afterwards. It happens with the Adamant and Classic skins by Stardock Design and Adrenaline by PixelPirate loaded but stops happening if I reload Vista's native skin or Optix,Diamond,Leo etc..
Here are some screenies:

Lordy lordy thats begging for a punchline..   I have never seen anything like that.. does it happen in my WB's?

Hey there vStyler   hehe no,just the ones I mentioned.I'm gonna do a system restore at the weekend to see if that sorts it out.

That might be a bit of an agressive step... I'm not exactly sure where WB is even getting those lines from... Perhaps its a bizarre margin problem?  Have you opened up the skins in SKS and taken a look for any common values that might be leading toward this issue, that other skins (like vStyler's) dont have?

Hi there CerebroJD,thanks for dropping by.  Unfortunately my technical expertise doesn't stretch that far but thanks for the suggestion.TBH a system restore shouldn't be too drastic as it's a new pc and I hardly have anything on it yet, apart from BitDefender 2008 which I bought yesterday.
Hey at least it's unique,I bet no one else has hairy menus.

After sleeping on it I think I have the culprit...

My question, of course, would be "why is it only happening in Windows Mail"?  They must be doing something non-standard in that application to cause it to just do it there.  In which case, I would wait around until we can get a developer or SD support staff in here to respond.

You know . .most menus have the keystroke letter underlined to indicate that you could [alt}-F for file then the letter to indicate the action ([alt]-F-N to go File | New Message)

I don't see those underscores in your menu . . any connection?

Perhaps... but Windows has a setting to disable that underline until you hit Alt.  It seems that a combination of properties in the skin, and the application itself are causing these problems... Perhaps I'll need to check out Windows Mail when I get home to figure out if I can reproduce the problem.

Well..... the plot thickens     I uninstalled Adamant and Adrenaline then re-installed and viola...no more hairy menus. Most peculiar.  I'm installing Windows Live Mail to replace Windows Mail now so I'll see what happens to that. Thanks guys.

So perhaps it was a skin problem that had been fixed already?  I couldnt say for sure... :-/

Could well be that CerebroJD.I'll keep an eye on it and if it re-occurs I'll post here again.
Actually when it was happening I wasn't getting the nice blue mouse over effects(with Adamant) in the menus, whereas I am now so yes, maybe a corrupted skin install.I was messing around with a new anti virus program around that time,so maybe that.
