WB feature request...substyle switcher.

In the systray perhaps?

Once upon a time before perpixel frames you had a lot of button options(was one of Windowblinds big selling points)...I believe it was Tiggs or Danillo that came up with a button script that would allow you to change substyles from a drop down menu.Very cool.

That needs to happen again...with the new colorizing presets and especially those of us who make dark skins with lite subsyles...a quick way to switch would be excellent.

Part of the tray icon maybe?A flyout menu on the desktop right click? In the tools dropdown menu in the toolbar?Center clicking the titlebar?

Best if it could be done without leaving current window.(I kinda like the center clicking titlebar for that)

Nobody's sewing any buttons on my skin...the one (belly button) I got is more than ample.

But yeah, a way to switch sub-styles without having to open wbconfig all the time would be great....I'm all for convenience/anything that helps reduce RSI/carpal tunnel.

****Orright, I'll admit it, it's motivated by sheer laziness. ****

Much as I've grown to love perpixel frames...we sure had to give up a lot.

Once upom a time, you could make different buttons for maximized windows...now your stuck with 1 set whether they fit the maxxed titlebar graphic or not.
You could even choose how much of a maxxed frame to show...never have learned why they couldnt make edge clipping work for perpixel...

As far as I know the color presets show up as substyles in the switcher.(dropdown)

heck, even a dx widget you could hotkey up would be something.  I still like the center click on the titlebar idea best.

I know that WindowBlinds (and SKS) are accessible via scripting, but I'm not sure to what extent they can be accessed.  It seems likely that the functionality is there to remotely change skins via script, (likely substyles as well then) but until we have a chat with WBlinds/Neil about this, I dont think the details will reveal themselves.
