Validated but serial number or SID don't match

I know my systems SID has changed as I had to blow away Windows. I can get Gal Civ to run. And I expect the SID may change again soon as I will be upgrading Mobo, Processor and Ram.

I bought GC2 and the expansion at the same time from the website.

Just delete the sig.bin file from the game's folder and reactivate. It's linked to the windows installation, so you can change your hardware so long as you don't reinstall windows again.
