the resource and way point bug is still there

what i mean is if you put a way point on a resource, and it is set to form fleet. the computer gets confused and tries to form a fleet and make a star base if you send a constructor in.[

Well yeah, that's what Constructors do. As soon as they reach a resource they'll automatically try to build a star base. Just don't use those locations for anything else. There's plenty of room on a map to create fleets in, so why would you even want to use a resource for that purpose?

So build a fleet point one square away from the resource then move the ships over when the fleet is complete. If you're trying to tell the computer to do two things at once, of course it's going to get confused. Even a human would under those circumstance, unless he/she was psychic and could read your mind in order to establish a priority. It's like trying to tell someone to pick up a glass of water and put it down at the same time. I'd hardly call this a bug, more like the game doing exactly what it was designed to do. You can't blame bad planning on your part on a design flaw.

Does it still try to do this if you turn off automatic SB construction in the Options screen?
If so, THEN its a problem/bug.

BTW, it is inaccurate to refer to GalCiv Rally Points as way points, since they have no 'signpost' or 'next destination' functionality.

1 this was unnecessary

2 they should have the option.

"2 they should have the option."

I certainly have no argument there.
