No more worries about nuclear waste!

If it works out that it will absorb and neutralise radiation, its certainly good news, time will tell. Something like this or of similar effect is sorely needed, as is becoming increasingly clear to even the most ardent Green campaigner, there is an energy gap with fosil fuels alone, and until Nuclear Fusion is perfected, we are going to have to deal will substantial nuclear waste from conventional reactors. Dozens new nuclear plants are on the drawing board or being built throughout the world, waste can be buried but it would clearly be better with methods such as this until Fusion is perfected.

yes, many new applications for new Nuclear power plants in the US are supposed to be getting submitted real soon from what I recall hearing about in the past week or so.

this is wrong. we have found a way to dispose of nuke waste. using that method there would be none.


but jimmy carter made it illegal with a presidential order.


all we have to do is recycle it. 20 years of recycling and all you have left is handful of dirt.


they also found a way to make nuke power completely safe. if melt down begins the nuke rods can shut themselves off no men or computers needed. all you have to do is leave enough room in the rod so that if the material gets to hot it can expand until there is no more reaction going on.


this was tested unfortunately on the day of Chernobyl. and you know that bad news gets first dibs.
