Freezes on loading a save game

I can't seem to get a minidump from it (can't even find the minidump folder for some reason), but the game freezes whenever I load up a certain savegame. Anyone have any ideas on how to either get the game to work when I load that game, or better yet convince it to actually generate a dump?

It freezes the instant it goes from load to game, I think, and background processes seem to continue undisturbed... except I can't get to them because of the game screen in the way, forcing me to hit "reset" instead.

I got the problem myself aswell as others.

If you cant find them, they might be hidden, so you have to enable to see the folders

They can be found here

XP: C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\
Vista: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\

I'm feeling stupid -- I even saw that thread earlier, just couldn't find it when I searched for it, lol.

That said, they simply aren't being generated -- I have hidden folders disabled by default on all directories, I hate 'em! Unless their hiding under a name other than minidump, they aren't even on my HD. I searched for "minidump" and didn't find 'em

Edit: Mods feel free to lock / delete this thread at a whim. And consider me heavily slapped for being so stoopid as to miss that thread.
