Keeping to the subject.

I have wondered for long about www.galciv.com. Why is I often read about stuff regarding other Stardock products on the galciv web-site first? The site is for GalCiv but everything else regarding Stardock is also being reported here. And now this post about The Political Machine where CariElf states that the date has been pushed to the 15. April. that is ok, but why isn't it posted on www.politicalmachine.com and www.drengin.net instead???? All posts, announcements on the main page etc. not regarding Galciv should be moved away and to their proper web-sites.

Eh, I don't know, I find SD's other products pretty interesting.

As with anything else, if you don't want to read it, don't.

I think its a good idea for a couple of reasons:

i) It introduces me to products I might not otherwise hear about or try

ii) It helps stardock make more money so they can produce better products/enhance existing ones and I can have more FUN :D

you are both right, but then why call the web site www.galciv.com as it apparantly gives information about anything related to Stardock. Then just close the Galciv site and have only www.stardock.com.
If I enter the IBM web-site I don't expect to find information about products from Dell or Joe's Automobile Emporium or whatever, even though it would be interesting for me also.

Sorry... bad example. If I enter for example Intel Website about their Itanium chip then it would be quite strange if they at THAT specific web-site also had information about Pentium IV, their motherboards etc. etc. not related to the Itanium. Agree?? And especially if news regarding their other products was not announced at their own web-sites but only (or at least first) at the Itanium web site.

And for gods sake why can't they announce on the PM web-site about the delay. Galciv has nothing to do with PM.

Because someone asked the Star Dockians *here* about PM?

We do get the occasional "off GC but still related to Star Dock" question. Most people either ignore it, or help.
