changed nick-name, now can't report a game to metaverse

I changed my nickname in the middle of playing a rather long game, and I think because I started playing it under the old nickname, and now have the new login info, I cant report the game. It keeps asking for the old nickname, but wont let me change it on the metaverse login screen. I can login and create a new metaverse game with no problem. Any way I can get this to work, and save my 50k points I just earned?

Have you tried to change your nickname back temporarily to submit the game?

Yep, that was the first thing I tried, and I'm not able to do that either. I think I'll end up just losing the points. That's annoying, but not a huge deal. On to the next game...

BTW, the sole reason I changed the nickname, was because I decided to change my empire status to "open" (trying to get some other players) and I wanted my nickname to be related to the idea of the empire in some way, just for fun. Bad decision to do it in the middle of the game, as it turns out. DOH!

On another note, how have other people had their empire banners show up as a larger pic (than mine currently is)? I tried changing the image resolution/size, but it always seems to default to the same size when I actually post it.

I'm always impressed with the prompt and helpful responses. Thanks Kryo! Makes it an even better game to play.
