Folder rename problem

When I Rename Folder or Desktop icon by using Alt + 255 in Window vista it's working
but when i am going to Rename it again i can't able to do it and not able to delete it
what can I do to remove folder it's on desktop please suggest me.

This appears to be an XP problem, not a Vista problem. There is a somewhat technical solution to the problem of hiding desktop icons here - you can probably do it with the Tweak UI power toy as well.
