No 1000+ Award, But I have 1000+ downloads?!

If you just reached 1000+ today, I'd say give it some more time.

You do not get an award for ' 1000 ' downloads of a skin.

The 1000 downloads you see on others profiles means they have downloaded 1000 skins from wincustomize. Its not really an ' award '

I'm pretty sure I haven't downloaded 1000 plus skins.

hum i guess not Fairyy~ when i got it i had a beautiful 110Mo downloaded skins
but i had more than 1000 download of mines

as i can remember it's when i had one skin who itself got 1000 dls not the total download count just one skin

Hehe, I've downloaded 1000+ and don't have an award.    Its for 1000 downloads of your work.  As I don't have any work, I don't have that award.  

id love to see some kind of explanation on these awards.

If it would pull up a little popup window when you mouse-over the award? or even a page with ALL the awards possible????


It would be great to see 10,000+ 50,000+ 100,000+ 200,000+ 500,000 etc?
It would be cool to have top 10, top 100, top 5, top 1 in a category as well.

The yearling award is top 1 but is a bronze metal whereas veteran is top 2 and silver, so top 3 whatever is above veteran (which is nothing as of now) will be gold metal.?

You don't get an award for downloading 1000 of your own icons

I'd say just create and upload the work you are proud of and don't even look at the stupid awards...

More fun than worrying about some award that doesn't mean a thing...

In the gallery, click on top skinners and that brings you to the hall of fame.  Just pick the catagory and it will give you the top 100 of that catagory.  And in your stats, it tell you where you stand in each catagory that you've skinned for.

If I'm happy with what I create, I don't need validation with some award.

And where's my Top 10 Logon Studio Hall of Fame award.....

We are just having some fun with these icons.. I think most of us know how to find out how to know about things like top 100, etc. No one is talking about needing Validation, or being worried.

I thought we were just talking about a feature that is on the site, and our ideas on it.

It would be nice to have more of a rewards = reward system but hey.. I'm already a legend in my own mind, I'm pretty happy with that

I just visited the poster's profile, and, there was an award for 1000 downloads. It seems that the old adage, "Patience is a virtue", is one that should be adhered to.
*sigh........

Incidentally, I have almost 3.3 million downloads, and I only have a +1000 downloads award.
I demand a bigger, flashing icon!!     

When that 'award' appeared on my site - which was a long time ago..I had never skinned anything. That was the answer I was given at the time, so I took their word for it ( must of been an award for 1000+ screen shots , cos thats all I had in my gallery at the time - see another reason that screen shots should not have a download count - its dumb.
