A question about patches

I just got the Gold Edition and I like it. However I don't have internet at home, and so I am wondering if there is any way to get the patches as single files? From what I understand if I download them from the program you guys have, I need to have that on the machine I'm d/ling to (like Steam), which I can't do.

Also, what's the newest patch? 1.6? I can't find it on Google, I don't understand.

1.5 is the latest version for Dread Lords, and 1.6 is the latest for Dark Avatar. Both are only available via Stardock Central.

If you don't have (fast enough or at all) internet at home, you can install SDC at a friend/family member's house or work (if permitted), and use the archive option in SDC and email activation to get the latest version of the games back home.
