HELP! My GalCiv 2 game doesn't know show letters anymore

I installed the Star Trek beta version because I thought it would be cool. The problem is when I run GalCiv 2 from now on the letters/fonts don't show anymore on the menu tabs. For example, where there is supposed to be a word saying "Load" or "New Game" it is just blank with the tab. Anyone else have this problem? Can anyone help me solve this?

Have you rebooted the computer since installing the mod?
