Old glitch again

Well I know you guys are at Stardock are going to be updating Dark Avatar to version 1.7 soon and I am just wondering. Well since the 1.6 update (I have 1.61 now but) say when your designing ships in the shipyard, well say I pick for example a medium hull, now say that I place anything on it, say an engine. Now when its placed and I go to change the size of it or rotate it, the engine on the hull ie the yellow engine already on the hull disappears. I haven't seen this glitch for a long time. Is this just me or is this just you guys are goin to fix for 1.7. I am just wondering. Oh almost forgot if I change the size of the engine before I place it, it won't make the hull engine disappear. Just only when I have placed any item on the ship and then change it, this glitch happens. Love the game still.

I've had that glitch too I believe, but it's just a cosmetic boo-boo in my opinion. I've wondered what's caused it.

If you click or drag the ship around does the engine reappear?  What if you add another part?

Do you notice this problem if you disable the "Use Enhanced Ship Rendering" option in the Video tab of the options screen?

If you have a saved game that reproduces this, please zip it and send it to [email protected].

Also, if you could, please post or send your debug.err file.  This can be found in c:\program files\stardock\totalgaming\galciv2\darkavatar.  If you have vista, the file will be in /my documents/my games/gc2darkavatar

This will show us your system specs and any error messages the program might have reported.
