If so, I came across that once too. Only once and it was a while back. I think I had done a CTRL-N and got a CTD before reloading it. I abandoned that game after reading the debug.err and seeing that the AI's intelligence was reset to a lower level.

Similar circumstances? If so, just abandon it and be real careful with the picks on your next game.

oooh I've heard of this problem, but I've never experienced it myself. I think it is just a problem with the graphics card or drivers or something.

Is this reproducible from a save game? If so, please zip the save game and send it in with the screnshot and your debug.err file to [email protected]

i would have thought it was just a weird calculation of the influence border due to some unique circumstance.

Throw in an influence starbase right in the triangle and see if it goes away.

Hmm no Cari, i cannot recreate it: after a turn it was auto-adjusted. Anyway it isn't a critical bug, the games works well, it make me only smile. Anyway if i'll recreate it, i'll try to send you the savegame. Two more things: 1) I cannot update the heightmaps from stardock.. it tells me that there's a new version, but when i try to upgrade, i got an error: "this file are not still avaiable" or something like this.. 2) On Stardock, where i'm replying now... the RETURN key does not work!! It's impossible to insert a newline into the message!!! It's a bit annoying.. more than the weird yellow lines

Try selecting GC2/DA from the listing in the main screen of SDC and updating manually rather than using the auto-update popup.
