Migration to Vista gets easier with Multiplicity 1.2

Control multiple computers with a single keyboard and mouse

Stardock has released Multiplicity Pro 1.2. Multiplicity Pro is a program that allows users to use multiple computers together at their desk as if they were a single computer. The program uses a network connection between machines to establish a universal clipboard and allow a single keyboard and mouse to control them all. Each PC continues to have a monitor attached to it and the setup works similarly as multi-monitor system.

For users, the experience is similar to a multi-monitor setup on a single PC except that with Multiplicity, each monitor is connected to its own computer. This allows users to take advantage of the power and resources of an entirely separate computer with the ease and convenience of a multiple monitor setup.

Multiplicity Pro 1.2 adds support for Windows Vista including the ability to copy and paste files and folders between machines.  For users trying to migrate from Windows XP to Windows Vista, these features can drastically ease the transition.

Multiplicity and Multiplicity Pro which adds file copying and support for more than 2 computers are available at https://www.stardock.com/products/multiplicity/. A free trial is available for download.

Support for Windows Vista is great and all, but I'm seriously asking why hasn't there been any progress with a MacOS X client yet? It has almost been a year since they announced it was in production. I would absolutely love to hear a status update of how that project is going. I also offer to help test it. I work at a State University who would most likely purchase a license if MacOS X support was added.

Gotta go with goyney, this will not be a killer app until mac support is added.
I'm assuming the general lack of comment from stardock about a mac client means that a mac client will not be appearing at all anymore which is a real pity.
I really need to run a mac within my setup and even though i purchased multiplicity a while ago I no longer use it, I'm instead stuck in synergy hell (great on windows stinks on the mac) pretty please stardock ? a comment even ?

And it looks like synergy development is deader than Julius Caesar.

I've been using this for my three comps. Two desktops where the main runs Vista, the second Vista and XP (also Ubuntu, but doesn't count here...) and also my laptop running XP. I love how easy it is to simply plonk my laptop onto my desk next to the other monitors and just immediately start controlling it from my main set of mouse and keyboard.

Though I will have to jump on a bandwagon and ask what the status for OSX version is. I've got a mac here which would be nice to trough into the lot. That will be my reason to upgrade to Pro.

The Mac client is still in development.

Anyone have an actual download link for 1.2 trial? All they seem to have on their website is 1.1
