restore problem

I had to send my machine in for a motherboard, and although I backed up, I can't seem to restore the gc2launch.exe file, nor the gamestart icon. I have my serial number from the purchase of gold edition, Man, I really want to play, what can I do?

You can also run GalCiv2.exe or GC2DarkAvatar.exe directly. Just make a shortuct to them and put it where you like.

The simplest (though not necessarily fastest, depending on your internet connection) way to get the launcher back would be to reinstall via SDC.
