I hope this isn't a double post. I hit submit a long, long time ago and nothing seemed to have happenned. Other pages opened up on the site, but my post just sat there. I'm hitting submit again after refreshing the page many times and not seeing it...
What a weekend! The wind blew some of the upper deck of our roof into our neighbor's lawn. We had the insurance folks and roofers out and now part of our roof is covered with a stately blue plastic tarp. Classy, it is. [e digicons]:grin:[/e]
The Texas Longhorns are replacing their field with astroturf and decided to sell off the existing live turf in 1 square foot sections during their spring jamboree scrimmage game yesterday. A once in a lifetime thing and only being sold for a period of 6 hours. Of course, we went and bought up some of that. Nice gifts, ya know. I made planters from drain boards that I found at the store and glued on some of the Longhorn logos. They look pretty cool. Gave the first one out this morning.
No gaming time. We put our garden in and I'm scoping out where to plant some of this grass we bought.
I see that there's been some trivial drama in the meantime. I looked at GmOOnii's profile and it says she's 30 years old. There are rumors that she's much younger, but I seem to recall the TOU saying something to the effect that you need to be at least 13 to be on these forums. If GmOOnii is indeed younger than that, there's some misrepresentation going on that might need to be addressed.
Perhaps we need a dev or two to get involved with this. At least some clarification would be nice. I'll leave a PM and raise the question.
