Can't Uninstall ObjectDock Plus

I am unable to uninstall ObjectDock Plus. Whenever, I click on the Add/Remove in the Add/Remove programs window, nothing happens. No uninstall program starts. It does close the ObjectDock.exe if it is running, but the program is not uninstalled.

Could anyone please provide some help to how to get this uninstalled?

Thanks.

do you have installed it via/by Stardock Central (SDC)?

if you installed it via a stand a lone download - add/remove should work
if you installed it using Stardock Central (SDC) - uninstall with Stardock Central (open SDC - plus version should be under 'misc' / free version under 'free stuff' - right click on it > uninstall

if all else fails, run: The Zapper

I am pretty sure that installed it from a standalone download. I don't believe that I have even seen the Stardock Central before. I have tried the add/remove programs, and it doesn't work.

Stardock Central page

maybe, possibly... SDC will find it

Also, I tried the Zapper program. It does not show any programs in the Uninstall tab. The program is still listed in the Add/Remove Programs. I can still run the program. I can try to see what the Stardock Central can do. I have never used it before.

I installed Stardock Central. It said the program was installed. I then installed it again through SC. I then ran the uninstall from within SC. This removed the files from my pc. The ObjectDock Plus entry was still in my Add or Remove Programs, but when I clicked on Remove it stated that it couldn't find the program and did I want to remove it from the list, which I did.

This appears have to removed the program from my pc. Thanks for all of the suggestions.

For what it's worth, I had the same issue. I wanted to uninstall it and reinstall it through SDC to ensure it would be able to keep me updated.

I eventually just installed it on top of the existing install via SDC. Seems to work fine.

that's one benefit of using SDC.

you can also archive current version prior to updating, so you have an easy rollback if there are issues with the updated one.

Uninstallation works the easiest way when going into the installation folder of OD and starting the UNWISE.EXE file, for most cases .
