I've just gotta take a second and say a huge "THANK YOU!" to a few of the all-time shotters...First off, to CPLair...I dont know where this guy came from, but without him, the skinning world would not be the same! and next, I would like to say "THANK YOU" to jim speakman, shenaynay, azdude, philly and pjdark (otherwise known as the "Rat Pack"). These people are the reason I do what I do! So, to all of you, "THANK YOU" for doing what you do, otherwise I wouldn't exist...Thanks~ Skinhit

I've heard it said that life is no more than a circle, that what ever you put into it will come back to you. Your words are appreciated, thank you.   

I've been hanging areound here for three years or so and have just started to do ScreenShots and upload them to the gallery here. I do them because I don't feel I'm talented enough to create the beautiful skins that are done by the fine skinners here.

I know the subscribers are always looking for and wanting Stardock to increase the WOW factor of the Premium Suites. Take a moment and visit the ScreenShot Library, some of the folks that submit screenies are also skinners, the rest are in my class. All we are interested in is making the best desktop with the skins that are available in the galleries. I believe that you just might find a little bit of WOW there.

To prove my point about the circle, it's skinners like Skinhit who make it very easy for us to what we do. I could start reeling off more names but I'd miss too many like Richard Mohler and just embarrass myself.

a reminder ....

the " Rat Pack " was formed ( By Cp and myself ) because it just seemed like
people were just losing out on what this website was about ,,,, and that is just
plain ol' " FUN " ....all seemed to be just getting way to serious and heated over
the stupids things ........ Enter the " Rat Pack " with new life brought back to
the screenies and very very FUN comments being made , graphics and animations added
to the Mix all in a very entertaining way ... so as to bring back the FUN in doing
all of this ,,,,, just sweating out a design then posting and moving on to the next
.... was kind of boring ...... the " Rat Pack " has brought the " Fun " of all of this
back ,, and i'm sure all the Skinners who are paying attention really love the Fun and
entertaining comments being made about their work .....

the Beach Boys , said it best in a old tune >> FUN FUN FUN .......

That is the only stipulation to joining the pack ... is you must be a FUN person
and have some FUN with the rest of the pack ................. AzDude !!!

You are a professional designer my friend, we all know and respect that, but you know as well as I do that quite recently, there was a huge distance between designers and shooters! That's how it was, and everyone seemed to be okay with it!

Everyone except me and Az! And we wondered why? Why does this place seem like a mortuary that if you smiled too hard or said the wrong thing, you'd crack all the egg shells you were walking on! It just wasn’t fun!

So Az is actually the perpetrator (I'm just a partner-in-crime) who said to me, let's have some fun, leave humorous comments and try to put some smiles on some of these glum faces!

My life-long bud Longdude0, who I taught desk design to joined us and we became “The Three Amigos!” But we kept on leaving the smiles on everything and everyone we touched!

Then one day I think it was on one of my shots, Chasbo said we’re nothing but a Rat Pack! And that’s where it came from! Jm Speakman, MaRose, Chasbo, Longdude0, Philly0381, Shenaynay, PJDark, TheCookieJar, MySecret, Az, myself and now as an Honorary vStyler! There’s your Rat Pack!

Now as for you Mr. Jack Nolan, it would be a total honor if you’d join us as an Honorary Rat pack Member. We know and understand because of your professional duties not allowing you to hang with us all the time, but what the hell, you been hanging with us all the time anyway. You know what I mean?

You always have been the one that bridged that gap that was once there, you have nothing but good things to say, you’re funny as all hell, you my friend are a true Rat Packer!

RAT PACKERS: I want to open a motion to accept Jack “Skinhit” Nolan as an Honorary Rat Pack member. I don’t need to explain who he is, or show you his work! You all know and love Skinhit don’t you?

Best bunch of folks on the site. They brighten my day several times a week.

All Hail The Rat Pack Unfortunately life has gotten in my way and I have not been a part of the rat pack for a time. We all know how life can come along & smack ya right in the chops. ...and without a doubt it means a lot less laughter & fun in my life. And that folks is life.

As has been said it is all about fun & enjoying using all these wonderful skins. The people that need to take a bow are all the skinners that share their visions, skills & time.

IMHO all skinners should automatically receive membership into the Rat Pack...I mean...where the heck would the Rat Pack be without them

I do wish that more of the Rat Pack could spend some more time in the forums....You are a great group of human beings....and so many here do not get to know who you are past the screenshots. You don't need to wait until a post like this....create your own or add to one of the many that are here....because IMO without a doubt bringing that wonderful sense of humor & your personality's into the forums would make them a better place to be.

Thanks for doing this Skinhit!!  I'm so happy to welcome you as a Rat Packer too!   But, if it wasn't for you and the other artists and skinners, there wouldn't be shooters!(I read this in a comment section, but its very true!)So, I'm happy and honored you are hangin' with us!
