Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here, but technically Blissful Dream isn't "dynamic" in the way that some people may be thinking. Blissful dream is only a regular old dream with time triggers built into it. Sure, this may be called dynamic (and indeed it is), but there is a big difference from this and dreams such as Desktop Earth and Desktop Collage.
Desktop Earth, for example, is completely rendered from your video card on the fly when you select it. All it is is a 3D rendered object that sits on your desktop, and since no video, looping or encoding of any kind is involved, we see a MUCH lower CPU usage. Due to this fact there is also absolutely no issues as far as your monitor's resolution, since the video card will be able to render it to whatever it is you desire (granted the video card has the horse power).
Blissful Dream is in no way the same. Blissful dream IS indeed a video file that was made to loop and was encoded with very specific details and at a specific resolution. Just about the ONLY thing that makes Blissful Dream even remotely "dynamic" is the fact that it has time trigger capabilities, but please understand the differences between the dynamic of desktop earth and the dynamic of blissful dream - it is quite large!
As I noted at the beginning of this post, PLEASE correct me on ANYTHING that I stated incorrectly above. I am saying all of this based on very little fact, and mostly my own speculation gathered from experience and knowledge. All I want to do is help clear this one up, since I've seen several people confused on the matter.
