Canada Rocks

...Musically that is

I'm so excited! Yesterday my ticket for Rush's 30th Anniversary tour came in the mail. Now I just have to wait 45 days for the show. You know, before, I hadn't thought much about the concert. But when I held that ticket in my hand I had a new revelation. I'm going to a Rush show! I'll finally see these guys and hear there music live! It's gonna be a wild experience.
I haven't been a fan for very long. Maybe about a year and a half. I still remember picking up my first Rush album which was Exit Stage Left.(I didn't even realize it was a live recording before I bought it) But when I had listened to all of it, and when La Villa Strangiato came to a close I was blown away. I laid back just trying to soak it all up. I had never heard anything like it before. So I've been a fan ever since.
I can't wait for the show. I wish that more of my friends could go but it's ok. I'll still be there soaking it up.

I apologize for my subtitle. I really think Canada is a great place.

Wow, I really wish I could go to the Rush show in Charlotte at the end of this month. I just don't think it is going to happen. Medical school sucks sometimes. I have had the blessed opportunity to see Rush live a couple times and they are truly wonderful. Full of energy, fantastic musicians, and just great guys. Alex Lifeson is a real riot live, his sense of humor is just zany and great. Enjoy it, live rock music just doesn't get any better.
