Also, while I'm thinking about it. Does anyone think that the Dreadnough looks a little boxy? It looks great, but perhaps the edges could be rounded off a bit. I know the TEC are supposed to be using the most basic designs and technology, though. Any thoughts?

I currently like the marza, my only demand would be that the barrel rotate after every round fired (come on, it would be an amazing aesthetic touch, and its one ship so it cant be that taxing )

Or what about some Supreme Commander touches, like each gun firing indepedently at targets -- independent behaviour and model per gun/bullet/missile...etc. It might be a bit too much though, but it's spectacular to see. For example, a destroyer's AA hardpoints firing at fighters, a starboard one firing at a fighter on that side and others on their sides, larger hardpoints at cruisers and battleships or planets. Heh, that's one reason I adore SupCom. It's an excellent and lovely evolution to strategy games.

This stuff is what I just posted about in the "System Requirements" thread in response to a dev post about the apparent worries about the graphics for the game.

Can someone get me some front, side, bottem, top, rearview pictures of the Marza Dreadnought and the Carrier? I would like to build a model of one of the two out of the many sheets of balsa wood and LED lights that I have laying around. This may be put on hold for a while, however, since the ship designs keep changing, but I could go ahead with drawing up the plans. Thanks!

I took a few extra images, as i didnt feel the front, side, bottem, top, rearview was enough

so heres the images
First the carrier

And the dreadnaught

Thanks for the pictures! Now I only have to figure out which model to build first (then the developers can change the designs on us again!   Oh well, the designs keep getting more impressive each time.).

I dont think you gotta worrie to much, for changes, about this 2 new ship designs.
If they do change them, it aint gonna be much.

Well thats what i believe

i hope so, they really look great now. The carrier bristling with hangers to quickly launch, and the dreadnaught stuffed full of big guns, missle racks and generally looking hella tough.

@GeekArmada - Ships' weapons do fire independently, I've had my Kol destroy two broadcast centers at once.

Currently, I have only built one other model. I had built the Coalition's Saber starfighter off of an older starfighter sim called "Starlancer". Unfortunatly, it did not survive the move to my current apartment very well. Currently, I can't find any pictures of it.

However, I have decided to build the carrier, at least at first (the dreadnought may come later). My main reason behind this is that the carrier is considerably simpler than the dreadnought (not as many diferent angles and shapes) and this is only my second completely scratchbuilt model (the previously mentioned model being the first). Right now I plan to make it 4 ft in length when completed. However, I'm getting ready to move again (halfway across the country this time), so it unfortunatly could be a couple of months before I finally have time to began constructing it.

That being said, I will let everyone see how it turns out!
