Disappearing ships

Hey all, I havent had a chance to play for a while since work has gotten real busy, but I just started a decent size game since I have some free time and I have found some graphic glitches, but I have used teh search option on here and havent found any other posts on it. I am about 3.5hrs into the game, a 4 galaxy battle with around 5 or 6 enemies (I like beign able to build up and then have mass battles), but now when I load the game, all the fighters have disappeared! It still shows their icon, but when you zoom in, they are not there...it just happened randomly, in between one of my savings and then coming back later. Anyone else encounter this problem or know what to do to fix it? Thanks.

Fourth Picture, the fighter are kinda hard to see just zoom in like smaller than a frigate while center on one.

I know how to zoom in and see them. What I am trying to say is that it shows them launching, flying around and such, but that when I click on the icon, there is no ship there whatsoever wehn I zoom in. I have found that randomly, the fighter models will show back up but then just disappear again at random times...so I have no idea what the deal is, hopefully the can fix this, or I pray its just not my computer.

Hmm I do have problem seeing fight with zoom far away however that may be new. Does the engine trail disappear? Or just the fighter/bomber?

Everything disappears. The fighter/bomber model is completely gone. It still shows the icon of the squadron when you are zoomed out, but as you zoom in and the icon goes away and is supposed to be replaced by the actual models, but they arent there. It doesnt let me select them either at this close of zoom, however, I can still issue orders when I am zoomed out far enough to see their icon. I have been noticing, that this occurs just randomly, or havent been able to put my finger on it just yet. However, after a while of them missing, the next time they launch, all the models are back. I am quite confused as to what is happening.

Hmm that is certainly for the developer to know, so they can fix it.

I remember a while back someone posted that when they were in orbit around a star the fighters wouldn't show up... but I don't recall it being mentioned as an intermittent problem in other areas of the map.

I encountered this problem to it is because you have to many ships ether on the map or in the system I had a 300 ship fleet and at times I couldent see 3/4 of it and it wouldent even show the icons for half the fleet even when I was zoomed out

Can you zip up a save game (they compress very well) where this is happening and send it to [email protected]? That will allow us to track it down for you. Thanks

This has happened to me as well. But it happens on every game I play.
