Getting back to weather docklets not working - It was the weather docklets which were crashing my object dock. It got to the stage where sometimes they crashed every half hour. We tried clearing cache etc & even starting the docks from scratch but no difference In the finish we deleted the weather docks off the object dock and since then we have had NO CRASHES. Its been stable for almost a week now. Any chance of someone looking into it as I think the weather docks could be the ones causing a lot of peoples Object dock problems

edit: nevermind, it works with the beta version of OD 1.90 b537u (have to disable the flyout though, otherwise they remain stuck on the desktop sometimes with vista). :/


I can't get Uzes, France to work in the weather docklet.
I've tried 'Uzes, France', 'Uzès, France', 'Uzes, France (Languedoc-Roussillon)', '30700, France' nothing works.
This is the page where the weather of the location I'd like to see is displayed:

ncl3, just type in Padova, Italy...it should work like that. I live in Mississippi, USA and tested Padova, Italy. Got your weather forcast......todays high 54f and some rain, apparently....

insfrag, it should work for you, too. I typed in Uzes, France and it gave me 2 options.....Uzes or Uzeste.....

I don't know, either. Makes you wonder if it's actually OD or if it has something to do with accu-weather.....

Rather strange that this was working [on vista] for Cairns, Australia prior to the latest update...

I can get it working for Townsville [a city 4 hours south of me] fine, ~but Cairns ...a city which has an International Airport that receives the second highest number of international visitors overall [behind Sydney], and where weather info would be of high importance ...seems to have been removed from the feed?

I've tried Cairns, QU, Australia | Cairns, Australia | Cairns, Queensland, Australia ...all with no success

Yet I can retrieve details AT the site itself...

Oh, I have OD+ installed on my XP rig [which is not updated to latest version], and the weather docklet is working there... [which would indicate that it hasn't been removed from the feed] but on Vista it won't pick up Cairns..

Hey...I'd be happy to get it working at all! Whaddupwitdat?? Any chance this is gonna get fixed? I mean....I still have my other weather widget...the uh...window...but then I have to turn all around in my chair...look out the window...and I just don't have that kind of energy anymore.

I's working for me, but since a few time, it's very very (very) slow to get weather information, and as the docklet is in my OD+ theme, this doesn't load completly unless weather have been updated (and in same time other progs which are also loaded on startup are also waiting ...)

A bit boring because bringing a very, very (very   ) s l o w boot sequence ...

Any idea of what's the trouble ? a server one ?
