Windowblinds/Skinstudio Video Tutorial

That looks like an amazing tutorial!  I was reading about it yesterday, and hope to take a look sometime soon!  Thanks for putting in the great effort!

I downloaded this and had a look.....
I have to say u did an amazing job on this tutorial and you can see how much time and thought u put into it.
You explain the basic functions of SS fantastically and this is a perfect tutorial for getting to know your way around SS and the handy tips u give are great! All I can say is...amazing work and thanks so much for posting this link; Im sure it will be greatly appreciated by the community.
I'm a fan of ur design work and once again thanks again for taking the time to put this tutorial together.

im going to DL it tonight, and hopefully it will get people like myself who have great ideas but never tried to do a WB an insight on how its done. with that, maybe we will see a lot of new artits, and new ideas in the near future. Thank you

Obviously you have know idea what you are talking about. I have been a member there for quite sometime, and that's not what the forum is about.

Maybe you should become more informed before you make such statements.

I joined DeviantArt, then I joined HollywoodGUI, I still can't find where to DOWNLOAD the video.

One of these days I intend to get around to some SKS video tut's myself, Angi, if you have questions, feel free to post them in the forums here or I am also on MSN, addy is on my WC personal page. A think a lot of people had probs getting to that tutorial by the way.

@Angi. The tut has its own thread direct on the site. You can't miss it. Its had over 3,000 downloads already so people are getting it just fine

The tutorial is so easy to find on the website. It is definitely worth downloading. It's the best tutorial for Skinstudio ever made!

No need to be so defensive, I've had several people tell me the same thing. In fact even after you told AbsolutelyAngi it was readily available she added me on MSN and said she still couldn't find it. I assume she wasn't lying. Personally I've never sought it out.

So......if you have been to the Hollywood GUI. I am going to make a few assumptions then.

First......you heard about Hollywood GUI and the Skinstudio Tutorial here

Second..... you say have been there and you didn't search for the tutorial yourself? Funny, I bet that's what brought you there in the first place.

Thirdly..... if that is the case, then it gives you no right to say "that it is hard to get", how would you know. Don't believe everything everybody tells you.

Fourth......the truth is this this. If people have a hard time getting it, it is due to MediaFire. They are the only file hosting site that does not charge for such huge files. If I remember correctly over 800 mb. MediaFire is not all that terribly reliable and happens to be down more often than not. So, if you happen to know of a better place to host files, please let me know.

I assume then that your Skinstudio tutorial will not be free like most of your other work. Unlike Stee03, who did it just to help everyone out; not himself.

There are 5 different people in the DA post that had some form of a problem finding or downloading the tutorial. That's all I was referring to, I offered to help Angi as she was another having difficulty as I help everyone who ask's help of me, ask around, everyone will tell you the same.

I neither seek nor need Skinstudio tutorials. I heard of the "tutorial" when it was originally posted on DA.



2 of my skins are Master skins, if your logic is based on non-fact, don't bother.

so what brought you to Hollywood GUI then? and you didn't answer whether or not your SkinStudio tutorial will be free or not.
