all evidence to the contrary, I (as a member in good standing of this group) must wonder about awards given out whilst under the influence of certain mind altering medications. please, do not think I'm just trying to stir the pot here, but, in a final communication before surgery, Po clearly stated that not no way, not no how was the specific individual in question to get a winky...then, as it turns out, our heavily medicated founder bestows a winky on said individual without checking with or advising any other committee member. I believe this was an episode of Star Trek.

Simple question, how on earth can others find my wallpapers. I asked this question but somewhere else. I was told awards help. Now ofcourse I have to ask, How do I get the award. I thought awards were given out because of hits on the wallpaper? I have looked under newest and they are not there. How do I get people to see my stuff and comment and get an award so I feel useful and know the pictures I take are something people like? I am just here to please. I want to contribute, I want to learn. I just don't know what the heck I am doing I guess. Please help this poor innocent sole. Humble in your site. Thanks.

mschleisner....i went to your gallery and didnt see anything in it? So lets say you submit a piece of your work....if it gets approved with 2.5 stars or higher it goes into the main gallery for all to see and rate, comment,etc....if it gets under 2.5 stars it will go to your personal gallery only for those who venture there to see and possibly download....so hopefully that helps and if not you can send me a PM and I will try to help if I can....Good Luck, Skinhit....

But in all honesty, I looked at a lot of them and they look more or less like personal photos. Which , there is nothing wrong with them but pics like that would be a better addition to your " Photo" gallery on your WC Personal site.

While your " Fairy Princess " Wall/Photo was very cute, its a bit blurry at that resolution.

When you post or make comments , post your Wincustomize Personal Site link - like I have pasted your site below..people are more apt to click a readily available link if its ' in their face'

Now I clearly understand and yes many were of the personal kind that could be shared with family in other states, but the photography ones that are scenery could work for anyone who likes a nature or outdoor scene. The Fairy Princess was (like I said) very difficult for me. I hope to take more pics (because I live in "beautiful" Florida) and would like to share it with the world. I have lived here 25 years and have traveled and think it is just the best place to live. Thanks for your input, this is why I want people to look and tell me what I need to do to please their eye. I am not good at photoshop or any of the great stuff others are but want to do my photography and share what I can do there.   

Many photos are used for walls...I didn't mean to insinuate that photography isn't suitable, it is. I think you just need a bit of adjusting on the camera, a bit more lighting etc. Its a good hobby and you will only get better. The Fairy Princess was very pretty, just was a bit faded.

Photos ideally suited to wallpapers need to be such things as general scenery, not 'MY holiday snaps last Xmas'.

When photos are submitted that are actually just personal travel snaps they are VERY unlikely to appeal to very many people...[really none other than those who were on the same trip].

Things like pics of Fido the cat and Fluffy the dog.... don't bother submitting them to 'Wallpapers' - they will be rejected.  Their intended/ideal location is your personal photo gallery ONLY...

Damn.
I guess that means the pics of me taken in the White Mountains of New Hampshire running buck naked in the snow are not gonna fly huh ?
