There has been some maintenance being done on the servers, not sure if this would cause your problem. You might want to contract Stardock and give them the email info that you should have received when you purchased the suite. They can straighten it out very quickly.

Sometimes it's quicker if I post here(already emailed Stardock)still waiting.....thanks anyway. Anyone else have a clue?

What browser are you using to download? I've found that certain browser have caused problems like this. I use Firefox with no problems. Then again it could have been caused by maintenance like he said...try again and see if it works.

I have also had similar problems. Then I downloaded with the download manager. it is easy, you should only copy and paste the link from email to download manager.

I have tried over and over again with download manager "Get Right".....same problem...I donno, this is very frustrating!! You pay for something and it won't work....I hope that Stardock fixes this on-going problem cause evertime I buy software....this happens!!

carolelee - There's nothing more frustration when things don't work when they should. Have you heard anything from Stardock?

When I was on dial up i tried using download managers and usually ran into problems. When you download are you given an option to set how many links will be used? If so, selecting too many can cause a problem. Try reducing the number of links.

Hang in there, someone with an answer for your problem will stop by an leave a fix.

Not yet....going nowhere fast.....lol

CaroleLee...I think its safe to say its not stardock thats causing the problem...its more to do with dialup timing out or something like that. I used to have the same problems when I had dialup. But I have no doubt that stardock will try to make sure you get what you paid for.   I know its frustrating...but just hang in there.

The download manager finished the download(took about an hour to download, it's a very large file...over 18 megabites).....I thought things were ok......not! Still says invalid or corrupt....must be a bad link or something, I donno

I wounder if Stardock would mail a CD? Would be nice for dial-up users.

I'm still not convinced the problem is just due to dial up(other than being veerrrrryyyy slow!)The zip file will not open due to being invalid(don't no why it's not valid.....mystery?)or why it's corrupt...what is the cause of the corruption? Snail mail would take forever....sigh  Does anyone know of an excellent download manager? Something with speed....lol

Try using just firefox to download the file...this is what I use and I never have a problem with it...in the meantime I'll see if I can find someone to help you out.

I use leechget personal (free) - haven't had many problems with downloads (can't remember the last corrupt using it)

I've tried two download managers.....with the same result, could it be the link from Stardock?

Are you downloading from an email? Try going to "settings" on the home page and the click "registrations" and downloading from there.

Yep...email, I'll try to find registrations...thanx!

Downloaded from settings......same problem(took another hour out of my life..lol)I don't get it??

Well, now it really just doesn't make any sense! When was the last time you were able to download anything? Did you knowingly change any setting in your computer (modem, internet etc.) or install new software? I say that because sometimes programs we use or update that need the internet can change the settings.  Have you noticed anything else not working on the computer?

I am alwasys hitting keys confirming things before I read what they will do,(human nature) and it gets me in trouble everytime. If you can determine the last time downloads worked you might want try and restore to that date. If you'er not confortable with that I would suggest it's time to seek out a local "GEEK" to help you out.

I tend to believe what has been said above that the problem is not at the Stardock end. Here's one more point of encouragement, the problem that is stopping you from downloading is minor, major problems hit you square in the face. Good luck.

I wonder how long these stays there. I bought the suite a while back (and a lot of other ones) and it's not there. Also I could not find it in Stardock Central.
Not a problem for me as they are saved in my E-Mail, but I thought I would try to download them again and see if there was a problem.

Carolelee, I downloaded it from my E-Mail and the zip works just fine.
I really feel bad for people on dial up. My mother in law has it and I have to update her computer all the time. The long wait seems to make a lot of downloads fail. Not trying to be mean but it took me about 30 seconds on cable. Hope you find the problem.
