Developer Suggestion: Add option to toggle movies always on, i.e. to repeat

I guess in-game movies show only once, but I think they are a very nice touch to the game, and it would be great to give players the option of selecting them always "on" so they can see them more than once when an event happens.

For instance, I remember in GalCiv I, there was no movie for capturing planets and the playing community asked for one and the developers obliged (yeah!!) and that was very satisfying. After all, trying for two days to capture an enemy planet and then finally succeeding seemed anti-climatic when it suddenly went into a planet management screen with no acknolwedgement of success - nothing like seeing your cinematic ships over a newly captured domain!

Dude, why not save up a few questions and ask in one post instead of posting each question seperately?

Thx for the suggestion.

I had thought about that, but I wanted to keep them separate so different people could respond quickly to the ones that they had something to contribute to. If you notice, I used especial care to make sure the title of each post was very specific, so that someone did not have to scroll through a volumunious passage, just to see if there was something that they could help me with (and not get bored along the way

A reasonable argument however the problem is that the more posts you make, then other peoples posts get pushed back to older pages faster which is not really fair on them.

As far as the point of the OP, I don't really see how anyone could object to an option that you can enable if you wish and ignore if you don't. I personally would ignore it because I feel these movies distract from the game as opposed to enhance it.

As far as the point of combining a small handfull of separate questions into one (I think we're talking about three here), I would certainly prefer that they be kept separate unless they're very closely related. It's far easier to respond to a post on a single topic on which you may have an interest or have specific information than it is to respond to three seperate topics rolled into one post, particularly when you may only be able to provide comment on one of them.

As far as the point about pushing other folks posts lower in the list, that argument is as valid against a single post as multiple ones. If the topic is valid then make the post and ignore the naysayers. And thank you for keeping separate topics in separate threads, it's less confusing that way.
