WindowsBlinds Wallpaper

Easiest question...ever...(maybe...)

'Ello

I just switched from a 17" CRT, to a 20" Widescreen LCD...so I had to change my wallpaper, my resolution is 1680x1050 the wallpaper I'm using is less than that, so it leaves the gaps in-between, no problem. Though, every time I change my background color to be black if I log off(reboot, shutdown) it switches to a light blue.

Can't find the control to tell WinBlinds to stop.

Any ideas please?

" In order to get the desktop background color (which is what I think you are referring to) to "stick," you need to change the setting for that color in the skin itself. There is a section in the skin's control file that lets the skinner change the color settings so that unskinned windows & apps like MSOffice at least have the same/similar color scheme.

The easiest way to do this is to download SkinStudio from Stardock (it's free), open the skin you want to use in SkinStudio, go to the Classic Colors section and change the desktop color to the color of your choice. Save the skin, then reload it (there's a button in SkinStudio for this) or reboot. That should get the desktop background to stay the color you want. Obviously, you would need to do this with any other skin you may use if you don't care for the color the skinner selected."

*sigh*
I found it, thanks before hand...

Have you tried setting the wall to 'stretch'?
You could also try FastStone Image Viewer (it's free and very good for organizing and viewing images in most formats if not all). You can use that to set the wallpaper and it allows you to fit, center, cover, and tile the walls. I use it for my dual monitors when I run into something that doesn't quite fit.
