Custom Race/Opponent Issues

Hi,

I've been creating ships for my custom race, and also created a custom ship style for it.

However, when I start a new game as my race, the miner, survey ship, and colony ship are still all the Terran Alliance style, even though I've selected my custom ship style, unique from all the other races, as the Race's Ship style, and have replaced all of these with my own designs.

I didn't overwrite any styles to create mine or anything, so what can I do to fix this? If I go into the shipyard, my ships are still there under "user" ships, but shouldn't the core ships be replaced by my designs as well?

Also, with custom opponents, when I set the Abilities and Economy Level and save, it automatically defaults back to 120% abilities and 70% economy. Changing difficulty level does not fix this, and it will default again as soon as I leave the screen, even after saving.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I guess I should also mention; When I'm editing my custom race as an opponent and playing as a default race, my custom ship style appears; the colony ship I made pops up and rotates when viewing the ship style.

However, when I'm playing as my race, and I'm in the screens before you start a new game where you can edit your race, the Terran Alliance colony ship appears instead, even though the style is still set as my custom.

AFAIK unless you manually change the prefix in your custom ship style's xml file, and accordingly rename the .shipcfg files for your templates, the core designs will override the specified templates when you're using the style yourself. If you do that though, then try using it, your core ships (at least the ones you start with) should take on the appearance of the templates you set up.

The ability/finance sliders do indeed seem to revert to whatever's appropriate for the difficulty level it was set to. Looks like a bug to me.
