Denied access

Just commented on a post requesting help for backing up skins. When I edited my reply I got a message saying  Access Denied. This is the second time. The first time, although I was already logged in I was denied access to rainlendar gallery. I had to log off then log in again. Am unable to edit now.

If it happens again, log off [as you did] ...but clear your cache & cookies, close, then re-open your browser, ~then log in again.

What you describe has happened to me once or twice, and that's what I did to resolve it.

That occasionally happens to me as well...including last nite but was because someone else was posting at the same time so I guessed. I did not need to log out nor clean cache because using tabs I went to the last tab on this site and went back to that post and saw the added thread. Each time its happened is bc someone was posting at exactly the same time.

If you are replying on the forums, you cannot edit your last reply if someone has made a reply in the mean time. You can only edit your reply if it is the last reply in a post. Typically when you see the Access Denied error message when attempting to edit a reply, you're seeing that because someone has made a reply during the time you were editing yours, hence making your reply no longer the last one in the post. Delicate balance, but required to maintain that behavior.
