Scripting Libraries?

I am unable to launch the program, I am getting an "unable to load scripting libraries" message. What's wrong?

Some issue with the launcher menu--simplest solution is to just go around it. You can browse to the game's folder in windows explorer and run the game directly (GalCiv2.exe for DL, GC2DarkAvatar.exe for DA), and make a shortcut to the program for future use.

It worked!

However the very next day I went back the same way to play and I started getting the error messages from that way too. Must be time for a new computer.
